Arm balancing has been an interest of many yoga practitioners. There are many hurdles to overcome when attempting arm balancing in the beginning. It is important to build the core, wrist and shoulders in order to perform arm balancing postures. This workshop is designed to teach students how to condition the body to execute arm balancing.

Chauncie Parchment: 1100hr RYT Yoga Teacher, gymnast, professional dancer, and martial artist, will be leading a yoga sequence for the first hour of class. As practitioners move through the hour, yoga class drills will be interwoven throughout the sequence allowing a seamless and creative way of integrating conditioning drills into an Asana practice that will transition into the second portion of class.
The second hour of the workshop will focus on arm balancing postures. Chauncie will choose two beginner arm balancing postures and breakdown how to execute the posture and then do the same with two intermediate & advanced postures. Practitioners will leave this workshop with conditioning and arm balancing tips and techniques to use in their every day yoga practice.
